ZZ plant
Hello! I recently bought this plant last month. He’s dropped a ton of leaves and has a bunch of these green/yellow leaves, any thoughts?

Paris Lalicata Hi Michelle! It looks like overwatering to me- I would recommend either increasing the plants exposure to bright indirect light, or watering less frequently. Make sure you allow the soil to dry out complete between waterings. ZZ plants are very drought tolerant which makes them super sensitive to overwatering!

Michelle M Thank you! Would you recommend going more like one month between waterings vs 15 days? And would one cup due?

Paris Lalicata Depends on the light levels provided for the plant. If you have it placed far from a light source then watering once every 3-4 weeks and aerating the soil would be best. Otherwise if the plant is placed in brighter light conditions then you'll want to water at the rate of when the soil dries out completely which could be every 1-2 weeks. If your plant doesn't have drainage then you shouldn't pour more than about 1/3 of the soils volume of water into the container! If you do have a drainage hole then it's safe to evenly water and allow excess to drain from the bottom.
