Connie I don't have any tips to share about your plant. Did you sprout this yourself? I have tried to do this without luck in the past.

Michael Lowny It is exclusively in office fluorescent lighting almost 100%of the day. When soil dries ~1/2” below surface I water with 16oz from the faucet. I did add fertilizer sticks (3 of them ) when the leaves started to drop off. I hav a second avocado at home that is in poor lighting and doing a similar thing with dripping leaves.
I live in Michigan where we are pretty chilly right now not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Office temp is probably 65

Paris Lalicata When you say almost 100% of the day, do you give the plant a period of darkness? If not, then this could be the reason why the plant is shriveling up, due to too much light. Avocado plants only need about 6 hours of light a day, but I would provide 8-10 max for a little more efficient growth. The fertilizer you added could also be stressing the plant out since it's not medicine for the plant, and more so a nutrient boost when the plant is actively growing!

Paris Lalicata Hi Michael! What kind of light is the plant receiving? How much do you allow the soil to dry out between waterings?

Michael Lowny First time posting, this avocado has always been in the office, in the last two months the leaves have browned at the tip shriveled up and fallen off. Please help with ideas how to save it
