What plant is this and how can I keep it alive??
I seem to recall this plant needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. I live in NY and brought it indoors for the winter and I’m battling to keep it alive in a only slightly lit space (two hours of direct sun). I currently have it under an infared blue and red lamp and next to a white lamp. Does anyone know what the plant is and how to properly care for it so I can keep it alive and bring it back to its vibrant red, orange, yellow and green color??<br>

Paris Lalicata Hi there! Looks like you have a Codiaeum variegatum 'Red Iceton' (aka Croton). This plants likes plenty of bright indirect light to full sun, and should be watered once about half the soil dries out, or once the leaves start to droop! Mine has also dropped a lot of leaves during this Winter transition. I would recommend keeping your grow light on for about 10-12 hours a day over the plant to help give it more light to sustain the leaves and water accordingly! It should be able to bounce back and develop new growth next growing season :)
